Getting There
Kimpton Sawyer Hotel on Downtown Commons is in the heart of Downtown Sacramento, at the southeast corner of 5th Street and J Street. If you’re flying into Sacramento International Airport, a cab ride takes around 15 minutes and costs around $36, plus tip. Shuttles, Uber and Lyft are alternate options. Sacramento Station, Amtrak’s stop in the capital city, is a two-block walk from the hotel. Sacramento Valley Station and several other stops for the three Regional Transit light rail lines—Gold, Green and Blue—are within a half-mile of the hotel, and bus routes zip across town. It’s also easy to get around to the attractions in Downtown Sacramento and Old Sacramento on foot or bicycle. (We have shiny new PUBLIC bikes you can borrow for a spin.)
For driving directions and other transport links, visit the hotel’s website.
