2025 TBA Internal Audit School

CBA is excited to partner with the Texas Bankers Association to offer California bankers the opportunity to attend this three-day course which will discuss the establishment and execution of an effective and efficient internal audit program. Attendees will learn the objectives of internal audit, and helpful techniques to reach those objectives. Internal audit should be a value-added function and not just a “check the box” cost center. This course will teach attendees how to create and maintain a value-added internal audit function.

The registration fee includes online materials for virtual attendees. For in-person attendees the registration fee includes online materials, breakfasts and lunches.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Cancellations or substitutions must be submitted in writing. Please email to education@texasbankers.com. Cancellations received on or before September 9 will receive a refund less a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received September 10-16 will receive a refund less a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellations received after September 16 or “no shows” will not be refunded. Extenuating circumstances are reviewed on an individual basis. Substitutions are permitted without penalty.

A notebook with course materials will be provided onsite for each student. The hands-on curriculum features an in-depth case study project and class exercises.

Texas State Board of Public Accountancy: 22 CPE credit hours. There are no educational prerequisites

ABA Professional Certifications: Pending approval.
