CBA Call for Submissions - Community Impact Videos

CBA is excited to announce that we will be producing ten videos to illustrate the crucial role that our member banks play in uplifting their communities and the support they provide to their customers in pursuing financial success. CBA members are encouraged to nominate their bank to be featured in one of these member videos.

Why Your Story Matters

Banks are fundamental to the economic and social fabric of California. They not only provide essential financial services but also actively support their customers and communities and fuel the economy. Unfortunately, the work that banks do in their communities often goes unrecognized. By sharing these stories, we can:

  • Enhance Community Awareness: Shine a light on the successful partnerships and programs that highlight the contributions of banks and community organizations.
  • Inspire Further Engagement: Encourage collaboration among banks and organizations to drive impactful initiatives that benefit our communities.
  • Strengthen Industry Reputation: Showcase commitment to community development, enhancing the public perception of the banking industry.

 Video Series Content

Each video will run approximately two to three minutes and highlight a specific partnership between a California bank and a community organization. The videos will include:

  • Introduction: A brief overview of the bank and community organization involved in the partnership.
  • Program Description: A detailed explanation of goals, activities, and outcomes of the program.
  • Impact Stories: Testimonials from bank leadership and community members who have benefited from the initiative.
  • Visual Highlights: Engaging footage of the program in action, community events, and behind-the-scenes moments.

 Evaluations

Submissions will be assessed based on:

  • Uniqueness: The innovation of the program
  • Community Need: Addressing critical community needs.
  • Impact: Demonstrable positive effects on the community.
  • Scalability: Potential for replication in other communities.
  • Sustainability: Long-term viability of the program and partnership.
