CBA Launches “Invested in California: Banks Making a Difference” Video Campaign

Campaign spotlights the contributions of California banks to local communities and the broader state economy

SACRAMENTO – The California Bankers Association (CBA) today announced the launch of Invested in California: Banks Making a Difference, a video campaign that highlights the community impact of California banks and the partnerships they have built with local organizations across the state. The campaign launches with six short videos, each telling the story of a different member bank and the programs, initiatives, and relationships it has developed in its community.

"The banking industry's role in California goes well beyond financial services,” said CBA President and CEO Kevin Gould. “Our member banks are creating opportunity, strengthening neighborhoods, and building the kind of trust that makes communities work. This campaign gives those stories the platform they deserve."

Banks play a central role in California's economic and social fabric. Yet the scope of their community engagement often goes unrecognized by the public, policymakers, and even other community organizations. The Invested in California campaign aims to close that gap by bringing these stories directly to the audiences who benefit from understanding them.

The campaign videos are available to watch on the CBA's YouTube channel and will be featured across CBA's social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
