Survive 2013 – Everything ACH & Regulation E You Need to Know!
Part 2: Understanding Regulation E & the New Remittance Transfer Rule

Take the steps to ensure your compliance. Don’t miss your opportunity to get a jump on recent changes and those that will take place during 2013.

Since 1978, Regulation E (The Electronic Funds Transfer Act) has had more impact on consumer transactions than any other regulation in history.  In 2012, the CFPB released its Final Remittance Rule amending the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA) and creating new consumer protections for remittance transfers sent by consumers to individuals and businesses abroad.  It is imperative that you are aware of these changes as it will impact how you send remittances.  You must also be aware of how Regulation E affects your ACH processing and understand the cost of non-compliance.
