Notary Skills for Bankers, Part 2 Advanced Notary Skills
This webinar series will equip you with the things you should do, the things you shouldn’t do and how to know the difference.

Most bank notaries receive no formal training. Session one addresses the basics, and session two takes a look at some of the higher-level legal and liability issues all bank notaries commonly face.

Why Attend?

For most banks, performing notarizations is a service that customers and the general public have come to see as both basic and expected. In today’s increasingly litigious environment, Notaries must not only be highly skilled, but more knowledgeable than ever before. This webinar will equip notaries with the broad-based, higher-level information that is necessary to ensure proper execution of notarial services in any given situation. It targets the notarial acts that are indigenous to most states. The emphasis will be on issues all notaries commonly face. Some of what participants will learn includes:

  • Overview of notary basics
  • Notary legal & liability issues
  • Interstate issues
  • International issues
  • Types, purposes & contexts of notarial acts
  • Bank documents versus customer documents
  • Recent legal issues and changes

Any experienced notary working in any capacity for any financial institution.
