Moss Adams LLP and the California Bankers Association have teamed up to provide a quarterly accounting update webinar series that is designed to keep your finance team up to speed on the latest developments in income taxes, financial reporting and accounting issues impacting community banks.
This webinar series will include a one hour presentation by senior level professionals of Moss Adams LLP and is geared specifically for community bank CFO’s, Controllers and others involved with the financial reporting function. The webinars will take place approximately 45 days after each quarter end and will include a question and answer session.
As 2016 comes to an end, we’ll take a close look at the imperative tax developments affecting community banks. What are the pressing issues and what steps can be taken to address these issues before the year ends? We’ll evaluate recent tax regulations and IRS pronouncements impacting your bank.

Amy Jessup, CPA, Senior Manager, Moss Adams LLP
Amy has practiced public accounting since 1997. She provides tax consulting and compliance services to financial institutions and professional service firms and is a member of the firm’s SEC and corporate finance practice. Amy has a strong technical understanding of corporation, S-corporation, partnership, and individual tax matters, and she works closely with financial institution clients in reviewing and monitoring their current and deferred tax positions and valuation allowance positions. She frequently assists with planning and calculations related to the tax implications of stock compensation, merger and acquisition accounting, changes in control, uncertain tax positions, and IRC Section 382 analyses.
Fahra Alimohamed, CPA, MBA, MST, Manager, Moss Adams LLP
Fahra has practiced public accounting with Moss Adams since 2010, serving clients in the Financial Institutions, Health Care, and Manufacturing & Distribution industries. She provides a wide range of tax solutions to both public and privately-held businesses, including C corporations and flow-through entities. Fahra is also a member of the Charitable Committee of the Everett office. She holds a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, and is a member of the AICPA and the WSCPA.
