This series provides an overview of the audit function, taking into consideration the evolving role of internal audit, internal controls, expectations, planning, risk assessment, reporting and more.

Hands-on exercises will help participants apply the concepts presented.

Planning is the first step in developing and executing an effective internal audit program.  How internal audit adds value may be illustrated in part through the planning process. This course will show you how to begin the planning process of understanding and identifying risks, assisting management in developing an adaptive risk assessment and translating it into an internal audit plan.
