COSO 2013 Review & Update
COSO 2013 introduced major changes that broaden the application of internal control in light of a changing business environment.
This webinar reviews COSO 2013 principles, types of internal controls and their implementation and application within your bank’s reporting, documentation and testing programs.
Since 1992, the COSO Internal Control Framework has been used as the basis for internal control over financial reporting documentation and testing programs. Effective December 2014, COSO 2013 added 17 principles to the five internal control components to enhance implementation in setting business objectives to improve and sustain business performance.
This program will review the impact of COSO 2013 on your bank’s internal control over reporting, documentation and testing programs, such as FDICIA and SOx, as well as general observations of external audit scrutiny in today’s environment.
