A special free webinar from the CA Office of the Treasurer on the California Capital Access Program (CalCAP) Small Business Loan Portfolio Insurance.
This tele-web seminar will begin on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Pacific Time.
The California Capital Access Program (CalCAP) encourages banks and other lending institutions to make loans to small businesses by mitigating the lender’s risk through a loan portfolio insurance. Lenders who enroll loans in CalCAP qualify for up to 100% coverage on certain loan charge offs.
This presentation will focus on:
- Benefits of participating in CalCAP
- Loan requirements for enrollment in CalCAP
- Enrollment and claim process
- Additional funds available for loans made to businesses in a Severely Affected Community
- Reporting requirements.
Any lending institution engaging in making small business loans who is looking for ways to mitigate risk.
Nancee Trombley, CalCAP Manager, will give a general overview of the Program as well as a walkthrough of the loan enrollment process. With more than 30 years of banking experience, Ms. Trombley currently is the CalCAP Program Manager, lead for the SSBCI Program, and ARB Heavy Duty Diesel On-Road and Off-Road Specialist for the CPCFA.
