ACH Rules Changes
Lastest changes to ACH rules in 2015 and beyond!

Take steps to ensure that you are up-to-date on the latest changes to the ACH Rules. This informative session walks you through upcoming 2015 changes and takes a look ahead at changes that will occur down the road.

As a participant in the ACH, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are updated and in compliance with current and new amendments to the ACH Rules. In this session we will discuss the most recent Rule changes and look at the changes coming in 2015 and beyond. Make sure that you are in compliance and understand your responsibilities.


We will examine the ACH Rule changes that went into effect at the end of 2014 and those that will be effective in 2015 including:

  • Compliance and Operational issues
  • Network Risk and Enforcement issues
  • Improving ACH Network Quality and Unauthorized Entry Fee
  • Changes to Notifications of Change and Returns

We will also take a look at what is being discussed in NACHA Rules Work Groups.

Mary Kate Cole, AAP, CAE, principal of MK Cole Consulting, has nearly two decades of bank operations experience. Currently, Kate is working with Management HQ as an Account Coordinator and Office Manager. As Vice President of the Upper Midwest ACH Association, she was responsible for member education and problem solving as well as ACH development projects. Kate has been active in several National ACH Association Rules Work Groups over her career. She is a popular speaker at both local and national conferences on electronic payments related topics.
