There is much happening in the world of payments. In this session we will discuss a variety of topics and the latest news regarding ACH. We’ll take a look at the Federal Reserve’s initiative for a faster payment system. We’ll talk about what a virtual currency is and check in on what regulators are discussing. The OCC has updated their EFT Guidance, and we’ll review that as well as the CFPB International Remittance Rule update. NACHA has a number of Rule Changes for 2015 revolving around Network Quality and Risk Enforcement that we’ll discuss as well.

Mary Kate Cole, AAP, CAE, principal of MK Cole Consulting, has nearly two decades of bank operations experience. Currently, Kate is working with Management HQ as an Account Coordinator and Office Manager. As Vice President of the Upper Midwest ACH Association, she was responsible for member education and problem solving as well as ACH development projects. Kate has been active in several National ACH Association Rules Work Groups over her career. She is a popular speaker at both local and national conferences on electronic payments related topics.
