2016 Cyber Regulatory Recap
Understanding the threats we face is critical in addressing regulatory compliance and effectively mitigating the risk of cybercrime.

Join us for this review of current regulatory issues and emerging threats and how we can best defend against them.

The past year has been an active year for regulatory changes and emerging cybersecurity threats. This session will summarize changes from the FFIEC and your specific regulator, such as FDIC InTREx.

From the FFIEC we will look at the following:

  • FFIEC cybersecurity assessment frequency asked questions
  • FFIEC information security booklet
  • FFIEC retail payments booklet – mobile guidance
  • FFIEC safeguarding the cybersecurity – wires
  • FFIEC IT management booklet

The FDIC also released new IT Examination procedures called InTREx. We will discuss this new process in detail and highlight what we have seen in other financial institutions so far. The OCC, Federal Reserve and State Departments of Banking have adopted new examination procedures as well.  This session will overview all these changes and give insight into what 2017 might look like for regulatory expectations.
