Mark Fischer is currently a Managing Director in PNC Capital Markets LLC, and Senior Vice President of PNC Bank. Mark leads the Western region for the Financial Institutions Group, and maintains his own account coverage of depositories in Texas, California and the Pacific Northwest. He joined PNC in 2004 as a summer intern and part-time in his 2nd year of graduate school, splitting time between Debt Capital Markets and M&A Advisory. In 2005 Mark joined the newly created Financial Institutions Group developing the infrastructure and framework for an asset liability management analytics and advisory group. In 2008 he transitioned to fixed income sales and held that role until becoming a dedicated Relationship Manager in 2010.
Mark joined PNC after earning his MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon. Prior to that Mark played professional football five years for the Washington Football Team. Drafted in the fifth round, he started 20 games at center and guard between 1998 and 2002. Mark holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 licenses, and resides in Indianapolis Indiana with his wife and two children.
