Louise Walker – Immediate Past Chair
President & CEO, First Northern Bank
Louise Walker has served as president and CEO of First Northern Community Bancorp and its subsidiary, First Northern Bank, since January 1, 2011. She joined First Northern Bank in 1979, and has been a member of the Senior Management Team since 1989. Walker is a member of the following board of directors oversight committees: asset/liability, asset management and trust, audit, compensation, directors loan, information services steering, nominating and corporate governance, preferred stock dividend, and profit sharing.
During her career, Walker has held a variety of positions, which included managing operations and data processing, as well as overseeing human resources, risk management, compliance, accounting and finance. Prior to becoming CEO, she held the position of senior executive vice president/chief financial officer for 14 years.
Walker is a past chairman of the CBA State Government Relations Committee, serves on the board of the Solano Economic Development Corporation, and is a member and past president of Soroptimist International of Dixon, where she has also served on the education committee, chaired the ways & means committee, and held the position of treasurer. She is also a founding board member and treasurer of the Dixon Community Education Foundation. Walker currently serves as a member of both the Dixon Rotary Club and the Dixon Community Church.
Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Saint Mary’s College of California.
