Take Advantage of CBA’s Special Financial Literacy Sponsorship Promotion with EverFi
Matching sponsorship available through August 15
CBA is pleased to announce a special summer promotion designed to target students in your community in partnership with our strategic partner EverFi.
School may be out for several weeks, but now is the time to begin planning for back-to-school opportunities by securing your sponsorship and taking advantage of a great offer. For a limited time, the California Bankers Association and EverFi will provide a matching high school sponsorship – free of charge – to any member bank that commits to a new school sponsorship.
This offer is available through August 15, 2013, to both CBA members who have not yet participated in an EverFi sponsorship and also to CBA members who would like to add new schools to their existing EverFi sponsorship program.
Please note that this offer is limited to one complimentary matching sponsorship per bank and applies to EverFi’s sponsorship programs secured at list price.
EverFi is a leading financial literacy education software technology company that uses virtual worlds, gaming, social media and videos to teach critical skills. Subjects range from using credit cards wisely to financing higher education, all focused on the fact that a strong financial education foundation is critical to the future success of our children. A recent EverFi survey of U.S. teens, revealed stark facts about how unprepared graduating high school students are regarding management of their finances.
Across the nation, 83 percent of students believe that personal finance should be a mandatory subject in schools. However, only four U.S. states require at least a semester-long course devoted to the topic, and less than half of states require personal finance education to be integrated into other subject matter.
