Sexual and Workplace Harassment

Sexual and Workplace Harassment focuses on behavior awareness. Through a series of scenario examples, students will be engaged in identifying conduct that could be considered unwelcome or inappropriate. Two forms of harassment will be explained: quid pro quo and hostile environment. Students will be given some steps they should follow if they feel they are victims of workplace harassment, such as sexual harassment and bullying. They will also be encouraged to focus on their own actions and consider how they may be perceived by others.

Learning Objectives: After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Describe what situations constitute workplace harassment
  • Describe guidelines to use to report incidents of harassment
