Description: Managing Employee Performance provides a proactive approach to manage performance by leveraging the three stages in the Performance Management Cycle.  This course examines the information you need before using the cycle that begins with the overall business objectives for your bank. It explains the first step in the communication process, which is to write clear and well thought-out performance objectives using six components. This course stresses the importance of ensuring employees clearly understand specific tasks they must accomplish and evaluating employee progress in meeting performance objectives. This course also describes the different aspects of constructive and timely feedback to employees. This course examines how to effectively review the results of employee efforts to meet individual performance objectives.

Audience: Any supervisor or manager who has responsibility for direction, documenting and evaluating employee performance.
