The California Bankers Association invites you to join your peers at the annual Joint Visit to Washington, D.C. with the Florida Bankers Association. We have provided links to the registration form below for your information.

For our upcoming visit, we are excited to offer a grant to emerging leaders from banks doing business in California who have not yet had the opportunity to join us on a D.C. visit. Upon attending the visit, the association will reimburse one emerging bank leader per bank for up to $2,000 of travel and accommodation-related expenses. CBA has a limited number of grants, and we encourage you to register early. Grants are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have joined us on a visit before, we hope that you might consider joining your emerging leader in D.C.

The visit begins at the Sofitel Hotel on Tuesday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. with registration, the welcome reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The visit concludes on Thursday, September 28, at noon.

On Wednesday, September 27, all attendees, and their guests are invited to attend a group dinner to be held at a venue in close proximity to the hotel.

To register for the Joint Visit, please submit your completed registration form to Dee Peach via email (dpeach@calbankers.com) by Friday, September 1

A block of rooms has been reserved for us at the Sofitel Hotel at a rate of $359. You may click here to reserve your room or contact the hotel directly at (202) 730-8428. Be sure to use the promo code FBADC for the room rate. Please note that reservations under the room rate are available on a first come, first served basis — the cut-off date for rooms at the group rate is Friday, August 25.

There is no registration fee for this event. Spouses and guests are welcome to attend all events held at the Sofitel Hotel and the Wednesday night group dinner.

This annual trip to our nation’s capital provides us with an excellent opportunity to discuss critical issues impacting our industry with our elected officials and representatives from key regulatory agencies. We hope we can count on your support and participation in September.
