This course presents the facts of mortgage fraud, the most common types of schemes and strategies to address mortgage fraud from a position of prevention. This course will define mortgage fraud, name specific types of mortgage fraud, and teach participants how to recognize common mortgage fraud schemes and identify the key characteristics of these schemes. Additionally, the course will show you how to identify red flags associated with specific loan documents. Course instructors will also emphasize the impact mortgage fraud has had on our personal and professional lives so that participants can better appreciate the importance of addressing mortgage fraud from a position of prevention.
