In this session we will bring in experts to help you better understand what’s going on in the industry, and prioritize which areas you need to focus on right now. In addition we will suggest tools and resources that you can bring back to your office to better ensure you and your organization have more control over your own destinies.

Our goal is to strengthen your strategic management skills, give you ideas that you can implement in your bank, and provide networking opportunities with your peers.

An in-demand speaker at, IHRIM and SHRM industry conferences, Rana is a recognized subject matter expert and best practices champion on workforce trends, organizational planning, data visualization, and how to optimally align workforces to execute on ever-changing business objectives.

Jeff Higgins
Principal and CEO, Human Capital Management Institute

Jeff is leading voice in human capital analytics and workforce planning helping leading organizations transforms workforce data into insights and ROI via advanced metrics, predictive analytics modeling. As a former CFO and senior HR executive, he helped create the breakthrough “Human Capital Financial Statements”. Jeff is a regular speaker at HR events, a member of the SHRM Human Capital Disclosure Expert Panel, founding member of the Workforce Intelligence Consortium and founding member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Saratoga Institute advisory council. Previously, he was EVP of client services at Inform a global workforce analytics and planning organization, EVP of Workforce Planning at Countrywide Financial Corp., and held senior HR leadership roles at The Irvine Company and IndyMac Bancorp Inc.

Monte Grix
Associate, Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP

Mr. Grix has represented a variety of employers with respect to labor and employment matters, including manufacturers, electronics distributors, general construction contractors (union and non-union), high tech service companies, retailers, aerospace companies, government contractors, agricultural companies, and educational institutions. His practice emphasizes both litigation and counseling. On the litigation side, Mr. Grix focuses primarily upon the defense of claims for workplace harassment, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, and labor and non-labor wage and hour claims, including Prevailing Wage matters and Project Labor Agreements. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Grix counsels employers with respect to employment and labor issues, and has experience conducting internal employment eligibility (I-9) audits as well as neutral investigations for private sector employers with regard to internal discrimination, harassment, wrongful discipline complaints, and ethics compliance.

Misty Elmore
HR Consultant, SPHR, Paychex HR Solutions

Misty has supported Paychex Human Resource Solutions clients for over seven years and has worked in the Human Resource field for fourteen years. Misty holds her National certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and enjoys the diverse clients she is able to support through her position as a Human Resource Consultant with Paychex. She takes pleasure in getting to know her clients and their businesses in order to assist them with achieving their individual goals. Prior to Paychex, Misty worked for First Data Corporation as an HR Generalist for a location of over 400 employees responsible for the repair, distribution and Customer Support of credit card terminals and supplies. Misty has extensive experience in managing leaves of absence, working with complex Employee Relations issues, managing the hiring and termination process and has a solid understanding of both Federal and California State employment regulations.
