Regulatory Panel Set for Strategic Governance Forum
The purpose of this forum is to discuss what it takes to be a well governed, well led and well managed bank. Among the questions we will consider are:
- What is the ideal working relation between the board and management?
- What are the greatest challenges to optimum boardroom effectiveness?
- How do we create, develop and change boards to ensure their ongoing effectiveness?
Stan Ivie, FDIC regional director for the San Francisco region; Edwin Chow, CFPB regional director for the west region; Lawrence Carter, OCC assistant deputy comptroller, Santa Ana, California field office; and Dale Vaughan, FRBSF examining officer, Banking Supervision & Regulation, will share their views on how to successfully navigate the heightened compliance reality while striking the right balance between compliance, performance and strategic management.
All bank directors, including chairmen and vice-chairmen; CEOs and senior bank officers, either on the board or those who work closely with their boards, will benefit from this session this session.
We will be offering this special event just once on Tuesday, February 5 at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. For more information/registration please visit the CBA website or contact John Lingvall at 916/438-4428, jlingvall@calbankers.com.
