Help Spread the Word About Voting
The November 4 General Election is just around the corner. In coordination with the California Secretary of State, the California Bankers Association is encouraging you, your family and friends to vote!
The secretary of state’s MyVote Democracy at Work Project invites businesses, state and local government and nonprofit organizations to strengthen our democracy by engaging in nonpartisan activities that encourage their employees, customers and members to participate in elections. You can help to improve voter participation in California by using your favorite forms of communication to send brief nonpartisan messages about upcoming elections to your employees, customers or members.
The last day to register to vote in this election is October 20. Registration is easy at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. Polls are open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Any registered California voter can also vote by mail. Just fill
in
and print an application at www.sos.ca.gov/elections_m.htm,
then mail it in time to arrive at your county’s elections
office by October 28.
