DBO to Host Financial Literacy Month Resource Fair April 2
The California Department of Business Oversight’s (DBO) invites you to attend its annual Financial Literacy Month Resource Fair, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 on the north lawn at the state Capitol.
The annual event highlights resources available to Californians regarding affordable financial services, free tax assistance, tips to avoid financial fraud and scams and smart money management tools to save for emergencies, college, and retirement. The Financial Literacy Month Resource Fair is a great opportunity to share your organization’s valuable information with attendees from the Capitol community.
Exhibitor set-up will take place from 10 a.m. to to 11 a.m. Participants will be provided one 6-foot table and two chairs; please provide your own table cloth. Parking is available in the garage at 10th and L Streets (enter on 10th), or metered parking around the Capitol (note- meters can fill up quickly).
If you would like to host a resource table (free of charge), please reserve your space by contacting Katie Carruesco at Katie.Carruesco@dbo.ca.gov or (916)445-8232 with the name and contact information of your organization’s attendees by March 7.
