Fielded nearly a dozen incoming media inquiries, which focused on a wide range of issues including millennials and banking, state and federal legislation affecting the industry including capital requirements, mortgage relief and successors in interest.
Media interviews were conducted with Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, NBC4 LA and KQED, among other publications and news outlets.
Issued press releases announcing the sponsorship of state legislation, Assembly Bill 1784 by Assembly Member Matt Dababneh, D – Encino, which will further advance financial education through school-based savings programs that help students learn the importance of saving and personal financial management and on the association’s partnership with the American Bankers Association Foundation’s Safe Banking for Seniors campaign, which mobilizes bankers across California to educate older Americans and their caregivers about elder financial abuse and how to prevent it.
Tweeted more than 30 times to nearly 1,000 followers on CBA’s Twitter social media profile to engage online with policymakers, members, the media and endorsed partners. Engaged with more than 650 followers on the association’s LinkedIn profile.
Worked closely with the events and education teams to design marketing materials to promote CBA events, conferences and seminars. Brochures and other collateral material were created for CBA’s 125th Annual Convention, Lenders Conference, Human Resources Conferences and Women in Banking Forum.
Assisted with several marketing campaigns to highlight new services or product offerings from endorsed partners Diebold, Verafin, DCI and Capital Circle members the Baker Group and Bank Compensation Consulting.
