Last Thursday in Sacramento, CBA hosted a Department of Business Oversight (DBO) roundtable meeting with 10 bankers participating. CBA President and CEO Rod Brown, CBA EVP and COO Maurine Padden, and SVP and Director of State Government Relations Kevin Gould were joined by DBO Commissioner Jan Owen and several deputy commissioners. Highlights of the program featured a presentation from DBO officials on trends in regulatory examination findings as well as a robust dialogue about prominent industry issues including vendor management, CRE loan concentrations, stress testing and resolving conflicting views between state and federal regulators. In her remarks, Commissioner Owen also asked banks to please complete a survey recently sent out by the Department.
