Last Tuesday in Sacramento, CBA hosted a Department of Business Oversight (DBO) Roundtable meeting with 24 bankers participating. Highlights of the two-hour program featured a presentation from DBO staff on trends in regulatory examination findings as well as a robust dialogue about prominent industry issues including payday lenders and DBO consolidation.

CBA President & CEO, Rod Brown, CBA EVP and COO Maurine Padden, CBA VP, State Government Relations, Alex Alanis and DBO Commissioner Jan Owen were joined by members of her senior staff including Scott Cameron, chief examiner; John Hanna, general counsel; Dave O’Toole, chief deputy commissioner and deputy commissioners Debie Abella, Lila Mirrashidi, Cathy Nahnsen-Robison, John Ross and Mary Ann Smith.
