CBA and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Conduct Roundtable Meeting
Last week, 15 CBA member bankers joined CBA President and CEO, Rod Brown, and CBA EVP and COO, Maurine Padden, in San Francisco for a roundtable meeting with senior officials from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRB) including SVP and director of supervision, Teresa Curran. During the meeting, a number of key industry issues were discussed including interest rate risk management, BSA/AML, information security, M&A activity and corporate governance and risk management.
The two-hour meeting featured robust discussion among the bankers and the FRB officials, who made it clear that bankers are always welcome to contact them directly with any questions or concerns. This San Francisco meeting follows two equally successful roundtable meetings held last year in San Francisco and last March in Los Angeles. The CBA and FRB both look forward to conducting additional joint roundtable meetings next year in both Northern and Southern California. If you are interested in participating in these roundtable meetings, please contact Curtis Paullins, VP, customer management at (916) 438-4430.
