CBA and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Conduct Roundtable Meeting

General information

Last week, 29 CBA member bankers joined CBA President and CEO, Rod Brown, and CBA EVP and COO, Maurine Padden, in Los Angeles for a roundtable meeting with senior officials from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRB SF) including SVP and director of supervision, Teresa Curran. During the meeting, a number of key industry issues were discussed including capital planning and raising, earning assets and net interest margin, interest rate risk management, corporate governance and risk management, cyber security and online fraud, and regulatory communication.

The two-hour meeting featured robust discussion among the bankers and the FRB SF officials, who made it clear that bankers are always welcome to contact them directly with any questions or concerns. This Los Angeles meeting follows an equally successful inaugural roundtable meeting held last June in San Francisco. The CBA and FRB SF both look forward to conducting additional joint roundtable meetings in the future.
