We will review each schedule of the quarterly call reports with emphasis on the extensive 2012-2013 revisions, accounting changes and regulatory guidance.

This two-day course will benefit both new and experienced preparers as numerous revisions and accounting changes have become a fact of life. Participants are encouraged to bring their bank’s latest call report for resolution of their specific questions during the session.

The workshop will be delivered by Ann Thomas, who has nearly 30 years of experience in bank accounting and control. In 1998, she organized Thomas Consulting and prepares monthly financial reports and bank plans, performs regulatory compliance audits and training, as well as internal control audits for several banks. Thomas has presented the call report seminar and has responded to questions from thousands of bankers in more than 18 states. Her experience working with a broad range of independent banks is of unique value in understanding call report questions and in communicating with bankers in their own language.

We are offering the course in Southern California this year, on Thursday and Friday, March 21 and 22 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City.
