The FDIC San Francisco Region is pleased to announce the continuation of Community Bankers Workshops. The Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection is offering a one-day event covering current topics of interest.
The Workshop is interactive and is intended to further the FDIC’s dialogue with the industry. The Consumer Protection – Emerging Issues and Best Practices Workshop will include discussion and tabletop exercises for various topics, such as examination trends, emerging consumer protection issues, Bank Secrecy Act, and the Community Reinvestment Act.
The session will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with breakfast and registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. and lunch at noon.

Cancellation Policy: Substitutions are allowed, at no additional cost. Written notice is required for all substitutions/cancellations. The full registration fee will be refunded if the request is received by July 29, 2013, and 50 percent if by August 12, 2013. No refunds will be granted after August 12, 2013. Registrations made after August 12, 2013, are not subject to refund.

Sponsored learning activities are measured by program length, with one 50-minute period equal to one CPE credit. One-half CPE credit increments (equal to 25 minutes) are permitted after the first credit has been earned in a given learning activity. Please note that not all state boards have adopted this rule. Some participants may not be able to use one-half credit increments.
