2016 Directors Certification Update
Early Bird Registration Extended through Friday, October 14

Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

As the economy slowly recovers, new risk management issues have
appeared. Bank boards are now focusing on the risks posed by Commercial Real Estate Lending, Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk and Cybersecurity. New regulations under the Dodd-Frank Act continue to roll out, capital rules have been updated and a new FDIC insurance premium plan for small banks will soon take effect. Bank directors should attend this annual program to keep up with these developments.

This update session is designed for directors who have already taken the full Directors Certification Program course and wish to renew their certification, but all directors will benefit from the critical information on current developments of interest. This year’s update will emphasize current risk management issues, regulatory developments and enforcement trends and what they mean for directors. Our speakers will discuss what makes an effective board today, as well as what is currently expect of bank directors.
