Commercial Banking Officer, Real Estate - Responsible for developing and managing new and existing corporate deposit, cash management and lending relationships, providing exceptional customer service to individuals and companies that have real estate business concentrations. Responsible for all underwriting; presenting proposals to the appropriate decision makers, both verbal and written, the merits and risks of a credit and/or deposit and cash management relationship. Work with supporting departments in coordinating services and/or relationship documents. Participate in the development and execution of Commercial Banking Group and Retail Banking strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze/underwrite financial statement packages/applications of prospective customers.

  • Manage portfolio of existing relationships (loans and deposits).

  • Responsible for overseeing documentation of credit facilities.

  • Support business development officers in calls to prospective customers.

  • Generate new loan and deposit customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • 5-10 years of commercial or corporate lending experience required. Commercial banking experience preferred.

  • Real estate underwriting experience with ability to review the tax and cash flow aspects of an individual or business with real estate concentrations.

  • Proven self-starter who is focused on goal achievement and sales ability.

  • Proven, established, business relationships and contacts with the ability to meet with the CEOs and CFOs of middle market companies.

  • Position will be required to collaborate with numerous support personnel in order to bring a new relationship from start to completion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WinFast or comparable financial spreadsheet experience.

Two weeks of ad space will cost CBA members and individuals seeking employment $40; four consecutive weeks $75. Non-members seeking to place ads will be charged $60 for two weeks of ad space, and $100 for four consecutive weeks.

Every ad must contain the title of the position offered or desired, as well as appropriate contact information (such as a fax number, e-mail or mailing address) where interested parties can send or secure additional information. Please note that submitted ads will not be proofread for accuracy and that each ad will be submitted as it is received. Payment must accompany the text of the ad itself or it will not be listed.
