CBA launches ID theft prevention campaign

CBA is launching an ID theft prevention campaign on November 5 - the first in a series of public service efforts launched by the association. In an effort to further educate consumers on how to protect themselves from identity thieves and also provide information to those consumers who believe they are victims of identity theft, CBA has produced a full-color brochure with helpful information and phone numbers.

A sample of the brochure is included in this edition of Monday Courier, along with an order form. Please review the brochure and complete the order form and return it to:

California Bankers Association
Attn.: Laura Thornton
1121 L Street, Suite 1050
Sacramento, CA 95814

We hope that these brochures will provide your customers with valuable information and the tools necessary to help them either prevent ID theft or quickly recover from being a victim. For those institutions that place repeat orders, CBA will significantly reduce the cost of brochures. If you have any questions, please contact Anissa Yates at 916/441-7377 ext. 208.
