General Information
The Chief Credit Officers Symposium will be held in beautiful Carmel,
California at the La Playa Hotel. Registration and welcoming reception
will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2nd. The program will
adjourn by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th.

Lodging
A block of 35 rooms has been reserved at the Hotel for attendees
at a rate of $220 per night for single or double occupancy, plus
10.5 % tax. Make your reservations by calling the La Playa Hotel
at, 800/582-8900 and ask for the CBA room rate. Our negotiated rate
will expire on October 9th. Check-in time at the hotel is 4:00 PM
and the check-out time is 12:00 noon.

What to pack
The attire throughout the conference, including Friday night's dinner,
is business casual. Generally early November is one of the nicest
times in the Valley with an average temperature of 65 degrees.
Travel Information
United Airlines is the official carrier of the California Bankers
Association and offers discounted airfares. Call United's Meeting
Reservation Center at 800/521-4041 to book flights and you will
receive an additional 5% discount off any published airfare from
first class to the lowest applicable airfare or a 10% discount off

Ground Transportation
La Playa Hotel suggests taking a cab to and from the nearby Monterey
Peninsula Airport. For the San Jose Airport (90 minutes away) and
the San Francisco Airport (2.5 hours away), you may arrange transportation
with Monterey Salinas Airbus by calling 831/883-2871.
