General Information
March on Sacramento (California Bankers Association Legislative Conference) will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Sacramento. This year the conference scheduling begins on Tuesday, March 6th with registration and continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m., followed by an opening speaker at 10:00 a.m. (Note: Current program scheduling for Tuesday, March 6th is subject to change. Please refer to final program agenda, when available.)

Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Grand Hotel at a rate of $169, single or double occupancy ($194 for triple, and $219 for quadruple occupancy), plus applicable service charges and tax. Make your reservations by calling the Sheraton Grand Hotel's reservation line at 800/325-3535 or 916/447-1700 and ask for the CBA rate. Note that the cut-off date for rooms at this rate is Monday February 5, 2007.

The check-in time at the Sheraton is 3:00 p.m., and the check-out time is 12 noon.

What to Pack
The attire throughout the conference is business attire. Weather will range from somewhat cool to rainy. Additionally, early morning flights should be avoided as the Sacramento airport experiences heavy fog during the early months of the year.

Dining and Entertainment
In the hotel, enjoy Morgan's Central Valley Bistro for breakfast and lunch. For coffee, espresso, or breakfast pastries try Glides Market. Also, don't miss a chance to relax at the Public Market Bar, located on the ground level with plenty of seating. The Concierge can assist you with making reservations at the hotel or nearby restaurants.

Travel Information
United Airlines is the official carrier of the California Bankers Association and offers discounted airfares. Ground Transportation
The Sheraton Grand Sacramento is a 20-minute drive from the Sacramento Airport. To reserve a rental car at the airport, call Budget Rent A Car at 800/527-7000. For discounted rates, refer to CBA ID #U051957. If you decide later to rent a car, there is a downtown office for Avis located at 16th and I Street. Taxi transportation to and from the airport is approximately $30 each way.

From San Francisco
Take Interstate 80 East to US 50 East. Take the I-5 North Exit towards Redding. Exit onto J Street. Use J Street continuation instructions below.

J Street Continuation Instructions
Proceed on J Street (one way) to the Sheraton on right side of J Street, between 12th & 13th Streets. You may valet park with the Sheraton or use their garage located on 13th & I Streets. For garage turn left on 13th from J Street, entrance will be on your immediate left.
