EVENT OVERVIEW

This unique program is designed to help you discover proven performance ideas that can work for you now; network with other bankers to explore what is working (best practices); give you access to an experienced support group of bankers and consultants; and share your successes. Topics to be covered in the first session include: revenue generation; deposit gathering; and an open topic session driven by the needs of this group.

What you can expect:
 
  • Come to the meeting with at least one success story to share with the other attendees or to obtain a solution to a challenge.
  • Spend the day exchanging best practices, obtaining new ideas from each other and the facilitators.
  • Chose an idea to go back and implement in your bank that will be beneficial and profitable.
  • Return to your bank to implement an idea you got from the session and track the financial impact.
  • Report on your progress at our next roundtable session.

This will be a highly interactive session in which the participants will work on real issues they are facing today. Participants will have the opportunity to formulate potential solutions to try out in their banks. As such we will have a limited number of openings and if need be will split the session into two discussion groups. If you are looking for formal presentations followed by question and answer periods, this is not the workshop for you. However, if you want to reap the expertise of your fellow bankers and industry experts to solve the challenges you are dealing with right now, then please join us!

Bob McGoffin, Vice Chairman, Home National Bank

Bob has over 43 years of banking experience which includes several years as a CEO and Executive Officer of community banks in Oklahoma, Florida and Arizona. He served as the Director of the Affiliation Program for Sheshunoff Management Services conducting CEO and Senior Lending training sessions to more than 1100 bankers from all areas of the country. Currently, Bob is Vice–Chairman of the Board for Home National Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona providing management and pricing strategies to a growth community bank located in three states.

Charles Wilson, Managing Principal, Banking Industry Group, Inc

Chuck recently served as Executive Vice President, Middleburg Financial Corporation, responsible for Consumer Banking and Marketing. He has also been employed with IBM Global Services as Principal, North America Bank Consulting Practice with responsibilities for providing an array of consulting services with Community Banking and Credit Union initiatives to community banks under $5 Billion in assets in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. He has more than 25 years of hands-on community banking experience, and is currently providing on-site consulting services in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management and High Performance Banking issues.
